Boat rental in Otranto

The lighthouse of Capo d’Otranto, or Punta Palascìa on a promontory south of Otranto, marks the most easterly point in Italy and at the same time the nautical boundary between the Adriatic and the Ionian Sea, which many mistakenly point to Capo Leuca, the extreme tip of mainland Italy. From here in good visibility you can see the Albanian coast, which is only about seventy kilometres away, and the outline of the mountains of Epirus and the island of Corfu, and it is here that tourists and locals wait for the first Italian sunrise on New Year’s Eve.

THE BOATS

These are fibreglass boats, some of them with a wooden finish, equipped with diesel and petrol engines. The stability of the hull and the reliability of the engines make sailing a pleasure. Their length varies from 6.5 m (40 hp motorised) to 9 m (250 hp motorised) and they are complete with: cushions, awning, ladder and safety equipment for navigation within 1 mile of the coast. You can choose between: a fibreglass boat for comfortable and quiet sailing, a fibreglass boat with wooden trim that combines elegance, comfort and performance (25 knots speed). Or choose the power of fast motorboats also with twin engines. The experience and friendliness of our drivers will accompany you on tours, acting as your cicerone as you discover the wonders of the Salento coastline.
