1. EXTENDED INFORMATION ON THE USE OF COOKIES
What are Cookies

Cookies are small text files used to enhance website navigation. Thanks to cookies, the browser in use can store navigation preferences such as the spoken language, display options, etc.

Cookies are saved on the device used to facilitate content usage and are readable only by the site that generated them.

No personal data of users is acquired by the site during simple navigation of web pages. Cookies are not used to transmit personal information.

The Piccola Nautica site uses the following cookies:

Technical cookies

These cookies are essential to allow you to navigate the site and use its features. Technical cookies strictly necessary for the operation and navigation of the site are used, as well as cookies related to saving preferences to optimize its use (e.g., language preferences). Without cookies, some features may not be accessible or may not function properly.

Performance cookies (third-party)

This site uses the Google Analytics service, provided by Google Inc., to collect statistical information on the use of the site with the clear intent of improving its performance and usability.

All information collected by these cookies is aggregated anonymously and is used only to improve the site’s functionality.

Below you can find information on Google’s privacy policy. http://www.google.it/policies/privacy/

Profiling cookies (third-party)

Some cookies may also be used to display special offers consistent with the preferences expressed during navigation to improve the user’s experience and purchasing conditions.

The profiling cookies we use do not collect information that can personally identify the user browsing the site pages.

The site uses profiling cookies connected with the Google Adwords “remarketing” function, allowing personalized ads to be published on Google’s content network based on the pages visited by users on the site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to your website.
The information obtained allows only the browser to be identified, and it is not possible in any way to identify the user.
How it works: some pages of the site include a remarketing code that allows reading and configuring the browser’s cookies to determine the type of ad the user will see based on data related to their visit to the site.
The remarketing lists created are stored on Google’s servers, where all cookie IDs associated with interests are stored.
More information on the remarketing tool is available at this link: https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/143465?hl=it&ref_topic=3123080&rd=1

Social Network Cookies (third-party)

The site integrates the main Social Networks through scripts made available by them. These scripts may use Cookies to facilitate content sharing on social networks or interaction with other registered users.

These types of cookies are managed by the different companies that own the individual Social Networks, each of which is responsible for its own cookies.
