Gabbiani Cave: A Natural Refuge Between Rock and Sky<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sailing past Grotta Terradico along the eastern side, the coastline becomes even more imposing, with tall, steep cliffs plunging straight into the deep blue of the Adriatic. It is here that the Seagulls\u2019 Cave opens up, a cavity that takes its name from the large presence of seabirds that have chosen this inlet as their preferred habitat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cave is a perfect example of how water tirelessly shapes stone. Along its walls, you can spot numerous freshwater trickles that, over the millennia, have given rise to elegant stalactite formations.
